Data Deletion Instructions
Effective date: March 2026
You can request deletion of your personal data and any data collected through connected channels such as Instagram and WhatsApp. This page explains how to make that request.
1. How to request deletion
Send an email to privacy@imwhisp.com from the email address associated with your Whisp account, using the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. Include your business name and the connected accounts (for example, the Instagram or WhatsApp number) you want removed.
2. What we delete
Upon a verified request we delete account data, stored conversations and messages, contact records, and access tokens for connected channels linked to your business.
3. Processing time
Requests are processed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation once deletion is complete.
4. Legal retention
We may retain a limited subset of records where retention is required by applicable law, after which those records are deleted or anonymized.
5. Revoking platform access
You can also disconnect Whisp from Instagram or WhatsApp at any time from your Whisp Owner dashboard, or from your Meta account’s connected apps settings.
